Hands-on science exhibits and natural history collections are featured in this Science Center located in the historic tobacco warehouse district of the city.

Highlights

The Butterfly Station and Garden is a seasonal feature of the Science Center and is a favorite of families and school children in the region. Campus is located at the Crossing at the Dan featuring access to the Dan River walking trail, the Community Market and an outdoor performance venue, the Carrington Pavilion.
