DeVol Wildlife Area is the only WCCB property owned in the intensively farmed northern portion of the county. This property is managed as a wildlife area with just over 40 acres restored to native prairie. Wapello County Conservation leases out approximately 37 acres on the west half of the property for agricultural production.
