Clarence Park is about 20 hectares in size and is situated a mile from Bury town centre. It links into three other sites, Clarence Lido (a large pond), Miss Walkers Field and Chesham Woods. With the help and continued support of the community and the Liveability programme there has been a remarkable transformation, from a well used worn out park to a more attractive vibrant park. The most recent improvements consist of a ballzone, skate park, tennis courts and a bandstand shelter. The park ranger based there has made some positive steps with the community through events.
