These seven backlit murals, each a different hue, portray the art forms of music, photography, cinema, jewelry making, visual arts, literary arts and theater – art forms that can be found in Aurora’s East End Arts District. Collectively, the murals create a striking rainbow effect visible to both motorists and pedestrians.

Highlights

Colors is one if eight significant public artworks that define Aurora’s East End Arts District, a 16-block area located generally along the historic commercial corridor from Clinton to Geneva streets on East Colfax Avenue. Public art in the District reinvigorates Aurora’s orignial downtown.

Located on the west side of Pacific Jewelry, 9700 E. Colfax Avenue at Dayton Street.

Commissioned by the Aurora Art in Public Places Program in collaboration with Aurora's Urban Renewal Division. Funded by a Community Development Block Grant.
