From the high school in Eureka, go east on highway 6 for 3 miles. Take an umarked road to the north and go through the gate. 0.7 mile from the gate another road leads to the left. Take this road for 0.3 mile where it begins to make a horseshoe shaped turn. Midway through the turn a track leads up a steep hill to a power line. That is where you want to be.
