From the intersection of U.S. 6-50 and Utah highway 257 west of Delta, drive south on 257 about 44 miles and turn east across the railroad track on a dirt road that leads to the Black Spring watering trough. From the spring, the road leading north has many branches to different collecting areas. Note: the spring is used by wild horses as an important water source. Camping and prolonged visitation to the spring itself should be avoided.
