To engage the city of London in a celebration of Chanukah, a special lighting ceremony of a 30ft Menorah takes place in Trafalgar Square.

This majestic 13 ton Menorah features eco-friendly LED lights; although to be true to the spirit of Chanukah, oil is used on the night of the ceremony.

Highlights

Gelt is handed out to the children, while doughnuts and hot latkes are also served.

In 2009, this Ceremony will take place on 16.Dec, 6pm-7:30pm. The Menorah will be in the sqaure 11.Dec - 18.Dec. All are welcome.
