When to Go
Bring the kiddies: Belay sessions take place Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:30pm-5:30pm for ages 7 to 12.

The Extras
Other features include Hades—the popular bouldering cave with plenty of routes; the tread wall—aka “the human hamster wheel”; and the incline walls with angles at 101 and 104 degrees.

In Short
Worshipped year-round, the Boston Rock Gym is a mecca for serious climbers during the winter months. With two 30-foot ceilings and over 60 top ropes begging to be used, the all-day pass (includes belay test) and the equipment rental fee (if necessary) are a pittance. The routes are constantly changing, but there will always be some lead climbing available and 5.11 to 5.13 climbs waiting.
