Since 1976, BMOCA has steadily evolved to become one of the region’s most energetic and innovative multidisciplinary arts centers. An exhibition might examine under-recognized Colorado landscape painters of the ‘40s and ’50s or decode the history and cultural significance of souvenir ashtrays. Additionally, the museum’s intimate performance space offers avant-garde jazz, dance and performance art.
